So when did it all begin. At school in drama, I developed a love for theatre, and performing. My drama teacher Simon Goddard was connected to Highbury Little Theatre. This is where I spent two years doing back stage on props, then eventually performing as a maid in ' Dinner With The Family'.

Circumstances change as we get older and so do commitments, over the next eleven years I began working nights, married and had a family. This meant I had to give up being a Highbury Player. Then in 2008 a poster appeared in St Marks Church asking for people to perform 'Godspell'. This reignited the passion in me and a journey was re-born.

I met many people whilst doing this show and many of them are still my friends today. I was finally persuaded to join Cloc in November 2009 and appeared in the chorus in 'Puss In Boots'. I thoroughly enjoy being part of an award winning company. My favourite characters that I have played to date are Mrs Sowerby in Oliver and the Demon in Mother Goose.

I have been part of the committee for three years now and it's true what they say work hard and play harder. My Cloc journey has not only meant performing on stage, but socialising all over the place with everyone else. From Blackpool to Centre Parks and even Cyprus.

Cloc is like an extended family and includes many people I can call true friends. My involvement has over taken family life as now both my daughters and my husband who plays in our band are involved. It means we get to spend more quality time as a family. I would recommend this hobby to anyone, as you never know where it will lead you.....
